A day after the primary and a few things to think about. Is Obama able to get the vote out to older Democrats? Is Clinton the powerhouse that wasn’t in Iowa? Can McCain’s victory get enough momentum? Only time will tell. But in the mean time, Obama looked like to be the winner the day before, but as usual media polls didn’t check out right. So I will never take a political poll seriously again.
McCain seems to be a better candidate for the Rupublicans although his age is my only concern. He could be the oldest President ingurated in U.S. history (Reagan was 69-77 in office). If you considered how long people are living on average now, it may not be a big deal, yet.
Michigan next week, Rays post tomorrow.

This is Eric from over at Rays Anatomy.
I think what happened in this primary is that women got offended by the attack’s Hillary took over her “emotional” moment. Obama carried the women in Iowa, but the roles reversed in New Hampshire. If you look at her victory speech, in the background there were at least 80 percent women.
Not saying that this type of voting will stay consistent, but on that night the ladies went with there own, instead of another message.
As for McCain, I appreciate everything he did for this country, but he lost me with his speech. He rambled, stared at his notes too much, an came off rough and unpolished. That won’t fly nowadays. Keep up the good work and I appreciate you posting on Rays Anatomy. You are always welcome.

Thanks, I think Hillary can get the women vote in every state. It is the younger voters I think she has a tough time winning over. It maybe they don’t know how different the country was during her husband’s administration. The older democrats were in that time period and remember that it was a succession and the economy was alot better. So they expect the same kind of administration if Hillary is president.
Only thing about McCain is that he is very old for a candidate. Other than that, I think the Republicans need to have a more moderate candidate to win after this past administration. I’m also more of a moderate conservative myself so I like him more over Huckabee. the other Republican candidates aren’t presidential or have some major flaw about them.
Like your site, the Gaithright video wowed me too last year.
